Welcome to the website of the Chinese Embassy!
Papua New Guinea (PNG) achieved its independence on September 16, 1975. It is the largest developing country in the South Pacific region. China and PNG established diplomatic relations in 1976. Since then, the two countries have been committed to mutual support and cordial cooperation on the basis of equality and respect. Sino-PNG relations have become a fine example of friendly and mutually-beneficial cooperations between China and Pacific Island countries.
The Chinese Embassy in PNG is committed to promoting exchanges and cooperations between the two countries and peoples as well as the continuous development of the Sino-PNG relations. We hope this website will serve as a window on China, PNG and the relations between the two countries. We are also devoted to providing consular service information in relation to Chinese passport, visa, document notarization and authentication, as well as consular protection and assistance for Chinese citizens.
Thank you for visiting our website. We truly welcome and value your views and comments on the website and our service.
We are looking forward to your frequent visits.
